Create an assessment overview

Assessment evidence

This overview aligns pupils with criteria, scores, completion status, and brief notes for one assessment, making moderation and later support easier to manage.

Define criteria first

Enter criteria in the same order used during assessment and word them clearly enough for the same evidence to be judged consistently later.

Separate score and evidence

Use the score field for the agreed measure and the notes field for concise evidence or feedback, rather than repeating the number.

Review incomplete work

Check each status before reporting results, particularly where a pupil was absent, submitted late, or needs another chance to demonstrate a criterion.

Verify before reporting

Compare identifiers, calculations, and criterion labels with the original work before this checklist informs grades, feedback, or support decisions.
