Track consent responses

Track replies by status

This tracker shows which families have returned a consent form or other requested reply, separating confirmed responses from cases that still need attention.

Set a firm deadline

Enter the response deadline that governs participation, then use it consistently when deciding which families require a reminder.

Record the actual response

Mark consent, refusal, and outstanding replies distinctly so staff do not mistake a returned form for permission or overlook a conditional response.

Target reminders carefully

Use the pending list for follow-up rather than sending blanket reminders, which reduces unnecessary messages and focuses effort before the deadline.

Confirm participation status

Before an activity goes ahead, reconcile the tracker with received forms and school procedure so only authorised pupils are included.
